Programme Introduction:

Supply Chain Management is main differentiator for any organisation to achieve competitive advantage and become market leader. There is a lot of emphasis on Sustainability in Supply Chain due to global environmental concerns. Not only customers and environmental professionals are voicing their concerns on Sustainability, but investors and other financial stakeholders are also focussing on Sustainability initiatives by the organisations. Social media is quite instrumental in bringing focus and increasing awareness on Sustainability. So organisations have to introduce suitable programs so that all members in its Supply Chain are aligned towards sustainability.

Programme Objective:

The main objective of this programme is to bring sensitiveness in Managers/ Executives towards sustainability and how they can plan implementation of programs on sustainability across the entire Supply Chain and align decision-making processes in Supply Chain for Sustainability.

Programme Content:

1. Sustainability issues in Supply Chain.
2. Identifying opportunities amongst challenges in sustainability.
3. Creating roadmap for implementation.

Programme Methodology:

• The program is designed for working managers and professionals, with a focus on practical aspects for implementing initiatives on Sustainability.
• The session methodology will be lectures and case study. Discussions would involve active participation for a greater understanding of the issues.

Program Directors:

Prof. Rajesh Sikka has extensive industry-wide experience working in leading global companies. He is Ph.D. (Management) from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Masters in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi, B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering, Fellow member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Dr Rajesh Sikka is a practitioner of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Strategic operations across Automobile, ICT, Hi-Tech and Outsourcing/ Offshoring industries. He has successfully driven Digital Transformations, increased profitability and efficiency by optimizing and improving Operations and Supply Chain, strategic acquisitions. After his industry experience, Rajesh has been a visiting Faculty with Management Institutes bringing his expertise and wealth of industry experience into academia. He has been teaching Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Strategy, and has also conducted several Management Development Programs for professionals. He also mentors and coaches Start-ups & budding Entrepreneurs, and provides advise on Intellectual Property related matters.
