INDEPENDENCE DAY - Every year on August 15th, we immerse ourselves in a vibrant cultural celebration that honors the rich tapestry of our nation's heritage. Through various performances, we promote a profound sense of unity and patriotism among students. It is a day where we come together to celebrate our shared legacy, embracing the colorful mosaic of our culture while fostering a deep appreciation for our nation's history and values.
DANDIYA NIGHT - The rhythmic clash of dandiya sticks sets the beat for a vibrant evening steeped in tradition. It is celebrated during one of the auspicious days of Navratri where everyone grabs their decorated dandiya sticks, each click and clack a mini-celebration in itself. Students twirl in a joyous circle, their clothes a vibrant display of their cultural heritage. It's an evening to celebrate community, heritage, and the pure joy of this cultural dance tradition, where movement and music become one.
Step Up - The flagship event of the Cultural Division of FORE, is a thrilling Western and Semi-Western dance competition held during our annual fest, Genesis. This vibrant event invites the best dance teams from undergraduate and postgraduate colleges across Delhi to light up the stage with their electrifying performances. Students get to feel the rhythm and excitement as these talented dancers ignite the sense of fun and energy, captivating the hearts of every viewer.
SPIC MACAY - The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is an esteemed organization entrusted with the responsibility to organize cultural shows reflecting various facets of our rich Indian heritage. CDF coordinates with the organization and invites various artists skilled in different art forms to perform within the college premises. SPIC MACAY promotes intangible aspects of Indian cultural heritage by promoting Indian classical music, classical dance, folk music, and other aspects of our heritage. CDF organized a Qawwali event in association with SPIC MACAY. The event had the audience witness a riveting performance by Nizami Sultan Ji Brothers and his crew of artists.
Talent Hunt - An event set with the intent to provide a stage for participants to showcase their talent in the areas catering Singing, mimicry, stand-up, poetry, etc. The aim of this event is not just to engage participants in a healthy competition but to also enhance and amplify the cultural aspect within the students as they witness an evening of enthralling performances.
