Annual Alumni Meet of FORE School of Management, New Delhi Saturday, 17th December 2022
Due to the Pandemic and restrictions FORE School of Management, New Delhi organized its Annual Alumni Meet- Jubilate on December 17, 2022, after three years.
It was a buzz as it witnessed several alumni gathered with their families to renew, reconnect and network with their friends around the world. It was time for all to walk down memory lane recapitulating all the good moments spent. Alumni from almost all the batches made their presence felt. They were happy to meet the faculties after so long.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the illustrious luminaries along with Vice Chairman Dr. Vinayshil Gautam, Director General Dr. Jitendra K. Das, Dean- (Corporate Relations) Dr. Rajneesh Chauhan, Dean- (Academics) Dr. Sanghamitra Buddhapriya, Dean (Academic Services) Prof. Neeraj Kumar.
The event was followed by a cultural programme by the students of FORE to get the celebration going.
Director General, Dr. Jitendra K. Das extended the heartiest welcome to the representatives of the FORE fraternity. Dr. Das emphasized the importance of having such Alumni meets over a regular period. He briefed on the significant strides made by FORE Alumni in furthering alumni relations in the last few years. He welcomed Alumni to visit the campus. He also shared memories from his own Alumni Reunion.
The Inauguration speech was given by our Vice Chairman, Dr. Vinayshil Gautam. He shared his own experience with his professors at Cambridge. He mentioned that the bond shared by students and their mentors is just like one shared by the members of a family. He also emphasized the importance of staying connected with one's Alma Mater.
The Alumni meet reunites and fosters the bond among all the Alumni of the Institute. It serves as a great platform to relive, and rewind the institute days and to reconnect with fellow batch mates. The Alumni Recognition Award ceremony has been instituted to honor and felicitate the alumni who have brought laurels to the Institute by making significant and outstanding contributions to their profession, business, and/or society.
Mr. Sujit Singh Bawa, currently the Global Head of the Tea Business at Hindustan Unilever from FMG-10 was felicitated with the Executive Leadership Award for his outstanding leadership and vision in the professional world. Mr. Kush Mehra, Chief Business Officer at PineLabs Pvt. Ltd. from FMG-11 was also awarded the Award for Executive Leadership.
Ms. Neha Kant, Co-Founder & Director, Clovia from FMG-11, and Mr. Nikhil Nanda, Managing Director, JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd. from FMG-3 were awarded the Entrepreneurship Award for their exceptional efforts and achievements.
Award for Public Contribution was awarded to Mr. Sujay Jha, Founder, and Director, Hari Bhari Waste Valorisation India Pvt. ltd. from WMG-5 for his contribution and impact on society. He is the major force in the waste management and logistics industry in India and has worked in more than 40 local bodies, managing waste for major cities in India.
Award for Influential Women Leader, an award to recognize women leader’s exceptional leadership and remarkable impact on the corporate world was awarded to Ms. Pallavi Shome, Chief Operating Officer at Bank of New York Mellon from FMG-2, and Ms. Sanchita Mukherji, Co-Founder and senior partner, Blue Edge from FMG-10 in recognition of their outstanding professional accomplishments in their chosen fields.
Furthermore, Mr. Ankit Aggarwal, Head Sales & Planning, JK Cement from FMG-19, and Mr. Pushkal Arora, Director at Cars 24 from IMG-6 were awarded the Award for Young Alumni Achiever in recognition of notable professional accomplishments by young graduates.
Mr. Sumeet Tandon, Director -Organisational and Transformational coach at EY from FMG-11 & Mr. Rajeev Kapoor, Zonal Head of Shriram Housing Finance Ltd from FMG- 13 were presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Alma-mater Award for providing mentorship to the students of FORE and contributing towards the development of the Institute. Late Shri. Manu Bhalla from FMG-9 was also awarded the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Alma-mater in memory of his huge contribution to FORE. The award was received by his wife and children on the stage.
All these alumni have elevated themselves in their field or carved a niche in a new field and are an inspiration to the current and future batches
The official programme was concluded by a vote of thanks by the Dean (Corporate Relations), Dr. Rajneesh Chauhan. He thanked the dignitaries Dr. Vinayshil Gautam and Dr. Jitender K. Das who honored the function. He also thanked all the participants and volunteers for making this event a grand success. And a special thanks to all the members of the FORE Alumni Network for their efforts.
Jubilate came to its highlight and centerpiece when alumni shared their most thrilling stories. Memories were refreshed and stories were exchanged. The alumni gathering came to an end with many people cherishing their memories and beaming with joy. The cocktail lunch was accompanied by an informal get-together. For all the alumni, a memento was given to cherish the memories of the occasion.
The Alumni meet turned out to be a huge success in terms of boosting engagement with the institute's vast alumni network. Overall the “REKINDLE MEMORIES OF GOOD OLD DAYS” theme of the reunion synced in well and turned out to be an amazing time of fun, food, friends, and nostalgia! Nostalgia filled the air as conversations hit off with everyone sharing stories close to their hearts.
