FORE School of Management, New Delhi was buzzing with anticipation and activity during the placement season. More than 95% of the recruitment drives were held on campus with over 100 companies participating in the placement process. The campus also became home to other institutes for pool campus drives. Bringing the efforts to fruition, the final placement result was the cherry on the cake.
PPIs and PPOs had already set the tone for the placement season. There were offers from names like L & T Financial Services, Genpact, and Zycus. Of the 102 companies that came to the campus for placement, there were 52 first-time recruiters. They hired our students for several exciting industry roles with phenomenal potential for growth. While the highest domestic salary was INR 18 LPA, the average earning potential was INR 9.4 LPA.
Top names including Deloitte US, Deloitte India, KPMG, and EY in Consulting, industry leaders Cognizant, Capgemini, HPE, DELL, and Newgen Software Technologies in IT / ITES, and the likes of Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Hero Moto Corp from the Automobile sector led the way. FMCG giants HUL, ITC, and United Biscuits, and big names in Retail, Pharma, and FMCD also participated in the campus drives undertaken for PGDM Batch 2016-17.
It’s also interesting to note that students were picked for stellar roles in their respective industries. Marketing job profiles ranged from Territory Manager - Sales, Inside Sales Account Manager, and Associate Product Manager to Sales Leadership Trainee, Sales Specialist, and Sales Trainee. Senior Manager - Risk Services / Partnerships, Associate Consultant, Analyst, Assistant Manager, and Senior Business Analyst were some of the profiles offered in Finance.
The variety and strength of roles offered to students speak of the quality and versatility of the batch. Interestingly, the batch included 72% freshers, from different educational backgrounds. While 65% of the batch had chosen Marketing to specialize in, 33% students had picked Finance. The sterling achievement in final placement is yet another step taken by FORE to realize the true potential of its talent pool.
