Brief description of Experience

Dr Samta Jain is an Assistant Professor in the area of Finance at FORE School of Management. She is a PhD (Finance) from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, in the area of Cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions. Her PhD thesis has been awarded the distinction in Doctoral Research by IITD and has also been nominated for Amit Garg Memorial Research Award. She is a dual post-graduate (M. Com and PGDM) in the area of finance. Dr Jain is UGC NET qualified with JRF and has received research fellowship during her doctoral studies. She has published several research papers in various International journals such as Emerging Markets Review, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Journal of Business Strategy, Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management, Review of International Business Studies. She also has a few book chapters in Springer books to her credit. She has presented her work in various conferences of national as well as international repute. She has also contributed as a quantitative research analyst in the public policy area of education.

Dr Samta Jain is an academician with more than 5 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy. Dr Jain has been teaching courses on Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Managerial Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, Business Valuation, Working Capital Management, Investment Banking and others. She has also undertaken management development programs for public sector managers.
