Programme Introduction:

In an increasingly competitive business environment, the ability to spot and seize new opportunities, to plot a path of successful growth for an organization, and to use resources effectively and efficiently, becomes paramount.
As many business practitioners will attest, strategy tools can be very useful in helping managers analyse, choose and implement organizational strategy. Managers have a number of management tools at their disposal to help meet the challenges that they face. Among these are tools for dealing with strategy analysis, choice and implementation. The challenge for managers is to understand which of these tools to use, how many to use, and when to use them. Research also shows that the use of a greater variety of strategy tools is linked to increased education and training, as well as career progression and greater work experience.

Programme Objective:

The programme will enable participants to learn and actively and critically apply business strategy concepts to diagnose, manage, design and change commonly faced challenges by organizations. Therefore, it will lead to;

The MDP will focus on variety of frameworks and tools for effective strategic insights, some tools which will constitute the central theme during the programme will be;

  • Tools for market and portfolio analysis
  • Industry analysis frameworks and tools
  • MECE approach
  • Strategy implementation framework and tools
  • Value chain analysis & mapping value configurations

The programme will use a mix of lectures, case & situation analysis, exercises, and group work to fulfil its objectives.

Professor Anil Kumar Singh is an accomplished academic and strategy expert who presently holds the position of Professor of Strategy at the FORE School of Management in New Delhi. Having spent more than 24 years in this field, he has been imparting his knowledge to future managers and has been actively engaged in conducting research on various aspects of strategy, competitive advantage, value creation, change management, and innovation. He has contributed significantly to the academic field with two edited books and 25+ publications in journals like Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Strategic Change Management, International Journal of Management and Business Research, Human Systems Management, and more. He is a accomplished researcher with expertise in the areas of dynamic capabilities, sustainability strategies, organizational adaptation, agility, strategic change, sustainability practices, and developing new business models. His diverse research and consulting interests share a common objective of empowering businesses to adapt and prosper in the ever-changing global economy. By providing the necessary tools, insights, and skills, he equips future leaders with the resources they need to succeed in the dynamic business landscape.
