‘Abhigyan’ in Sanskrit means direct perception aided by prior knowledge. The journal, Abhigyan of FSM was started in January 1983 and has completed its silver jubilee successfully. A quarterly , refereed journal is devoted to disseminating findings from research work and exploration of original ideas concerning organizations and management. It seeks to address issues of interest to managers and academicians equally.

The American Psychological Association has included our journal in their information system. The journal has also been registered and assigned ISSN by the Indian National Scientific Documentation centre which would be monitoring and supplying uptodate data to international center of ISDS, Paris.

The journal has served as a platform to communicate new concepts in the field of organization designs, comparative picture of eastern and western management, understanding the work culture in India, participative management and an array of other issues of interest to academics and the corporate world.
