In an attempt to conserve and promote awareness of the rich and heterogeneous cultural tapestry amongst our students, FORE Sports & Cultural Division and Spic Macay is organizing a bansuri recital under Virasat-2010 by world renowned artist, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 4.30 p.m. in Virajam Auditorium. Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji is an Indian classical instrumentalist. He is a player of the bansuri, the North Indian bamboo flute. He has expanded the expressive possibilities of the bansuri through his masterful blowing technique. He is a rare combination of innovator and traditionalist.
